Born on a horse farm in the Bluegrass. At the age of 14, I attended National Cathedral-Saint Albans in Washington, DC. At 17, Tulane University in New Orleans, La. My third year was spent at the University of Salamanca. After completing a master's degree at Tulane, I moved to Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil for two years, back to Salamanca briefly, then to Hamburg and, finally, to Madrid, Spain.
