For sale is a splendid messenger-style shoulder bag by Zagliani, a historic Milanese excellence known for its masterful workmanship of exotic leathers. This piece represents the perfect balance between the practicality of contemporary design and artisanal luxury.
Materials and Design:
• Exterior: Made of high-density cotton canvas in an ivory beige tone. The body of the bag is embellished with Zagliani's iconic vertical stripes in genuine python leather with a shiny metallic finish (color "Lead" or burnished brown).
• Hardware: Metal details with an aged brass finish, including the shoulder strap buckle and the small decorative pins that secure the leather strips, typical of the brand's handmade craftsmanship.
• Interior: The interior reveals a lining in chocolate brown technical fabric, chosen for its durability and ease of maintenance. There is a large security pocket with a zip, finished with a coordinated python zip pull and a dark leather plaque.
Functionality:
The satchel design with a large front flap offers a unisex and versatile style. The shoulder strap is adjustable and features a refined two-tone construction: canvas on the inside for maximum comfort on the shoulder and metallic python on the outside for a luxurious aesthetic impact.
Condition of the Item:
• Canvas: Excellent condition, intact weave and free of fraying.
• Exotic Leather: The python scales are flat, shiny, and perfectly preserved, a sign of meticulous care.
• Interior: Clean, with no stains or obvious signs of wear.
• Hardware: Perfectly functional, the "antiqued" patina is original to the design.
Why buy it:
It is a rare bag, ideal for those looking for a niche accessory. Compared to the all-crocodile Zagliani models, this canvas version is much lighter and more suitable for everyday use, while still maintaining the prestige of exotic leather.
