Rare Filson Style 20 Mackinaw Virgin Wool Heritage Workwear Button Vest Size 50

Overview

A highly characteristic C.C. Filson Style 20 Mackinaw wool vest, constructed from 100% virgin wool and made in the USA.
filson 0710 p20762

The original woven neck label reads:

“This Is A Genuine Filson Garment”
C.C. Filson Co. – Seattle
100% Virgin Wool

The secondary factory label identifies the garment as Style 20, Size 50, with Made in USA production and professional dry-clean-only care instructions.

This is a classic piece of American Filson heritage workwear, combining a clean waistcoat silhouette with the substantial wool construction for which the company's traditional outdoor garments are known.

Filson continues to describe its Mackinaw Wool as a dense, durable wool designed to provide breathable insulation and retain useful insulating properties even in damp conditions.

Why It Stands Out

This piece represents the older C.C. Filson Seattle / Made in USA era of the brand and retains both its prominent original woven Filson label and factory specification tag.

The combination of:

    Style 20
    large Size 50
    100% virgin wool
    Made in USA construction
    traditional charcoal gray
    original heritage label
    simple five-button utility design

makes it particularly attractive for collectors of classic American outdoor clothing, heritage workwear and traditional Filson garments.

Current Style 20 examples are regularly marketed as vintage Mackinaw wool heritage pieces, with Size 50 examples being specifically documented in the resale market.
Condition

Very good pre-owned condition.

The wool body presents cleanly and retains a dense, consistent surface and strong overall structure.

No major structural damage is visible in the supplied photographs.

As with any pre-owned wool garment, extremely minor signs of previous wear or naturally occurring surface variation may be present when examined very closely.

Please carefully review all photographs, as they form an important part of the condition description.

Zeldzaam Filson Style 20 Mackinaw scheerwol Heritage Workwear vest maat 50

Overzicht

filson 0710 p20762

Het originele geweven neklabel luidt:

“This Is A Genuine Filson Garment”
C.C. Filson Co. – Seattle
100% Virgin Wool

    Style 20
    grote maat 50
    100% scheerwol
    Made in USA constructie
    traditioneel antracietgrijs
    origineel heritage label

Conditie

Zeer goede tweedehands staat.
