OWNED BY SIEGFRIED & ROY with PHOTO - Philippe Charriol Mens Red Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch

Today's offering showcases this Philippe Charriol SuperSports mens automatic chronograph owned and worn by Siegfried Fischbacher of Siegfried & Roy, the greatest magician duo of all time.

Our research found several photos of Mr. Horn wearing the watch, including in one of his iconic photos that was used is the main photo for his obituary for ABC News and The Times UK.

The watch features a full size case with Vendome style lugs. It measures 42mm in diameter including the crown guards but excluding the crown and pushers.

Its bezel with yellow tachometer scale and red SuperSports logo complement is striking fire engine red dial.

Powering the watch is a very fine Swiss made complicated mechanical automatic chronograph movement based on the renowned Valjoux 7750 movement found in many chronographs made by Breitling, Tudor, Tag Heuer, Omega, and IWC.

One of the coolest things about this watch is its level of wear. This wasn't a "safe queen" - it was enjoyed by Mr. Horn. While it is still in very serviceable condition, it was clearly worn many, many times and seems to have been one of his regularly worn watches. Think of the events this watch has seen!

We have not polished the watch or done anything to the outside of it...we left it just as Siegfried & Roy last used it which includes dirt, etc. The only overhauling we did was to the inside of the watch to make it ready for years of future immediate enjoyment.

One of our Master Watchmakers, fully serviced it, which consisted of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn parts, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $695 value).

It is keeping time essentially on par with a brand new fine watch in our testing.

Accompanying it is a Certificate of Authenticity and Provenance from a well-known auction house and a Certificate of Authenticity from Connoisseur of Time.

We will be listing several of the famous duo's watches. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to own one.

Siegfried & Roy - Masters of the Impossible

From humble beginnings in war-torn Germany to international fame and a record-setting run at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Siegfried & Roy were entertainers and personalities that will never be replaced.

At the peak of their particular and possibly extinct brand of celebrity, Siegfried & Roy were arguably the most famous magicians since Houdini.

The combination of Siegfried's mastery of illusions with Roy's natural rapport with exotic animals created a 50-year performance partnership that set unparalleled attendance and box office records. Along with their extensive animal family – more than 75 white tigers, white lions, leopards, jaguars, and cheetahs and more – Siegfried & Roy became famous worldwide.

From February 1, 1990, until Roy Horn's career-ending injury on his birthday on October 3, 2003, the duo formed Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage Resort and Casino, which was regarded as the most-visited show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In recognition of their talents, Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn received the Las Vegas Entertainment Award for the Best Show Act in 1972; the Magicians of the Year Award from the Academy of Magical Arts in 1976 and they were honored with the Magicians of the Century Award in 2000.

The duo also dedicated their lives to the worldwide conservation of highly endangered species. They have served as Chairmen and remain active supporters of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Save the Tiger Fund. This fund has educated millions of people to the plight and importance of saving imperiled tiger populations and it has raised millions of dollars to protect critical tiger habitat, stop poaching activities and establish effective conservation strategies in a number of range states. Due to their leadership, the number of white tigers in the world has dramatically increased to nearly 200 and there are now 23 rare white lions.

I'm excited to have launched a collection that is composed of 83 watches and clocks owned or worn by 42 iconic celebrities and public figures. It may be the largest current collection of celebrity-owned watches in the world. It will be constantly changing and is currently headlined by timepieces owned by some of the most legendary Hollywood actors and actresses, musicians, comedians, and entertainers:

The King, Elvis Presley. (Just sold)

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The King of Comedy, Jerry Lewis.

The Artist Formerly Known as Prince

Hollywood icons Steve Martin, Red Skelton, Martin Sheen, Burt Reynolds, Betty White, Olivia Newton-John, Bob Hope, Greta Garbo, and Mickey Rooney.

Legendary musicians Johnny Cash, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, Janet Jackson, Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, Don Mclean, Leslie West, and Hank Williams, Jr.

Sports great and soccer legend Pelé, heavyweight boxing champion Jack Dempsey, Yankee great Lefty Gomez, and Green Bay Packer Mike Bucchianeri along with the game ball, signed photo and watch from the college football "all star" Blue Gray Game in 1940.

Further filling the current collection are watches from King Edward VIII and the Duchess of Windsor, beloved Hollywood host Ed Sullivan, renowned illusionists Siegfried & Roy, Academy award-winning actresses Loretta Young and Doris Day, Emmy award-winning actress Valerie Harper, Golden Globe winning actor Richard Chamberlain, Phyllis McGuire of the chart-topping McGuire sisters, Elvira Mistress of the Dark (Cassandra Peterson), fashion designer to the stars Nolan Miller, and a watch worn by multiple characters in the television series "For All Mankind."

Recently sold was a watch given a handful of years after the Civil War concluded by the Vice President Elect to honor an Army commander who went on to receive the Medal of Honor.

This is a significant, exciting, and constantly changing new collection you won't want to miss! Stay tuned over the coming weeks for photos of other special pieces from the collection!
