History of the HY. MOSER mark. d: 33mm
Origin of the name: The HY. MOSER mark (where Hy. is the traditional abbreviation for Henry / Heinrich) is the official name of the watch brand founded in the 19th century by Swiss industrialist Heinrich Moser.
Mid-20th century (1950s-1960s): During this period, the Swiss manufacture (based in Neuchâtel and Le Locle) actively applied the inscription HY. MOSER to its wristwatches. The dials of this era featured the house's iconic logo, the name of sports or everyday lines (like the Boy Sport range), as well as the classic SWISS mention at the bottom of the dial.
The Dixi Mécanique era (1970s-1980s): During the watch crisis, the brand joined the industrial group Dixi Mécanique. It was during this time that the spelling HY. MOSER was registered as the official trademark of the group.
Contemporary period: Upon the rebirth of the manufacture in the early 2000s, the decision was made to return to the full historical name: H. Moser & Cie. Nevertheless, the HY. MOSER signature remains an integral part of the house's heritage and attests to the authenticity of vintage Swiss watches from the middle of the last century.

Geschiedenis van de markering HY. MOSER. d: 33mm
