Sublime Valentino Garavani handbag in beige and brown snakeskin and smooth nude-colored leather. Designed around 2010 under the visionary artistic direction of the duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, this model perfectly embodies the alliance of dramatic romanticism and Italian craftsmanship specific to the House of Valentino.
Crafted from exceptionally noble materials, the body of the bag combines snakeskin scales in natural brown and beige shades with extremely soft-to-the-touch calfskin.
The central element is a spectacular sculptural draped leather knot, an iconic symbol of the Chiuri and Piccioli era. The rigid structured leather handle allows for absolute elegance when carried by hand or on the elbow.
Its state of conservation is remarkable. The leather retains its original suppleness, the scales are beautifully preserved, and the gold-toned hardware engraved with the logo retains all its shine. A very slight stain is visible in the photo. The sturdy canvas interior is clean, featuring a practical zipped pocket and its leather tag with an authentic serial number.
This vintage collector's item has become extremely rare on the market, as creations of this quality and in this condition are becoming true precious art objects. As current fashion celebrates the return of strong archival pieces and exceptional craftsmanship, this bag fits perfectly into contemporary trends. It adds a touch of sophisticated boldness to both a minimalist outfit and a chic evening look. A timeless investment for lovers of haute couture and rare leather goods.
