RODO

This model embodies the quintessential summer and cocktail glamour of the late 20th century. Entirely handmade in Italy, the bag stands out for its rigid, box-like structure covered in a fine, dense geometric wickerwork with a glossy white/cream lacquer finish.

The accessory is enhanced with refined, polished gold-tone metal details, including the geometrically contoured top snap closure and the double interwoven chain shoulder strap.

The interior, accessible via an elegant gusseted opening on a gold-tone metal frame, is entirely lined in leather. It features a flat back slit pocket lined in gold satin, beneath which the famous cursive "Rodo" logo is clearly heat-stamped in gold leaf. On the opposite inside wall, the gold-tone wording "ITALY" is engraved, certifying the controlled origin.

CONDITION: GOOD CONDITION WITH SIGNS OF USE CONSISTENT WITH ITS AGE
The bag remains structurally sound, intact, and fully functional in all its mechanical parts (the lower zipper at the bottom and the upper snap closure click and hold securely in place).
- Exterior: The wicker weave is solid and free of structural fiber breaks or broken threads. As shown in the macro images, there are scattered superficial chippings of the original white lacquer (mainly located along the upper opening edges and on the sharp edges/corners of the lower support base), allowing the natural shade of the wicker underneath to show through. These details do not compromise the solidity of the item and testify to its vintage authenticity.
- Interior: The inner lining is in excellent overall condition, free of tears or unstitching. There are very slight dark stains and dust from storage on the bottom. The internal gold logos are clear, shiny, and perfectly legible.
- Hardware: The gold-plated metal trim, clasp, and chain maintain a good shine, with minor surface scratches and slight tarnishing/oxidation due to age on the upper fixed components.

RODO
