GUESS Vintage Los Angeles 1981 Monogram Satchel Bag – Y2K Aesthetics

Description

Beautiful vintage handbag by GUESS (Model/Item No: SG480931 / Serial Number: 11156876) in the iconic early 2000s (Y2K) style. This bag combines a glossy, cream-white/off-white coating with a quilted diamond pattern and the subtle, repeating Guess monogram pattern.

The front features the famous gold-colored metal GUESS Los Angeles 1981 logo plate and a classic twist lock closure at the top. The interior is fully lined with a striking, luxurious leopard print lining, featuring a zippered interior pocket and handy slip pockets for your phone and cards. A true vintage collector's item! Dimensions

• Width (base): approx. 32 cm (Measured from corner to corner at the bottom)
• Height (excl. handles): approx. 24 cm
• Depth (bottom): approx. 12 cm
• Handle height (drop): approx. 22 cm (Ideal for comfortable carrying over the shoulder or in the hand)

Condition: Good condition (with vintage signs of use)

Structurally, the bag is in very sturdy and good condition, but due to the passage of time, it shows typical vintage signs of use (see photos):

• Exterior: The coated fabric is neat and the monogram pattern is clearly visible. Slight discoloration/rubbing is visible at the corners of the bottom.

• Handles: The white coating on the handles shows some cracks and wear from use (craquelé effect), which is normal for coated material from this era.

• Hardware: The gold-colored metal elements show light superficial scratches and slight discoloration on the twist lock. • Inside: The leopard print lining is completely clean and intact. The faux leather trim along the inner pocket shows slight cracking/drying cracks.

Afmetingen
