Ring 💍 Carborundum 💎 Silicon carbide is a synthetic material (improperly called by the trade name carborundum) called moissanite. Material found in small quantities in some types of meteorites has been found for the first time within the Diablo Canyon meteorite that fell in Arizona. It is very rare on Earth, silicon carbide (moissanite) in space forms an interstellar dust that is found near carbon-rich stars and is supposed to form the mantle of planets. Its hardness on the Mohs scale is 9.8 (diamond for example is 10). 📏The diameter is 2 cm (adjustable), so the size measurement, being adjustable, is suitable for any finger size 🖐️. ✅ Present Dust Bag by Annarita Vitali. ♻️ The ecological choice of creating jewelery and accessories with the sole use of recycled material while safeguarding the environment, with collections that retrace the history of jewellery, places the designer Annarita Vitali high in the ranking of low environmental impact brands. ⚠️ There are imperfections and signs of wear such as scuffs and microscratches. The base of the ring is in raw metal (not gilded) and has light abrasions and small oxidation points. There are traces of putty where the carborundum is glued to the metal base. Due to its artisanal nature, any imperfections are characteristics that make it unique.
