Splendid and very rare archive pareo / maxi wrap signed by Christian Dior, designed by John Galliano. Made in France.
An unfindable collector's piece, perfect as luxury beachwear or an impact piece for personal fashion shows. The design combines the sport-chic attitude of brown lycra with the theatrical and seductive touch of long black fringes.
The cut is asymmetrical: straight at the top for easy anchoring and finished with a pointed cut at the back that gives wonderful movement to the silhouette. Made in France.
Color: Chocolate brown with contrasting black fringes.
Composition: Very high-quality Lycra (73% Polyester, 27% Elastane), opaque, elastic, and very soft on the skin.
One Size (O/S) / Extra-large model, extremely versatile (can be draped as a full dress, a long skirt, or a maxi wrap).
Measurements: Maximum height 164 cm.
Authenticity details: Original rectangular Christian Dior interior label, with size indication (French and European), material composition, and authenticity serial number on the back.
Impeccable vintage condition. The lycra retains its perfect original elasticity and the black fringe is absolutely perfect, fluid, and without any pulled threads or damage. A true COLLECTOR'S piece.
The exceptional condition ("perfettissima") and the peculiarity of the pointed Galliano cut.

The peculiarity of the pointed Galliano cut (as written above) is its ICONIC sculpture of the silhouette: Instead of hiding forms, the point accentuates the arc of the back and the movement of the buttocks, creating a sculptural effect typical of couture applied to swimwear or light ready-to-wear.

(Size selected as KR XL as One Size is not available in the listing.)

Gemaakt in Frankrijk.
