Rare and iconic archive top by JOHN GALLIANO, from the mid-2000s (Y2K era). This piece celebrates the famous "Newspaper" aesthetic made famous by the designer, here in a splendid historical variation: "The Galliano Times" headline frames an American-inspired graphic centered on Abraham Lincoln's 1864 presidential campaign ("Union Standard Bearers"), complete with a patriotic tricolor bow and aged vintage effect details.
Cut with a boat neck/off-the-shoulder neckline, enriched with delicate ruffles on the cap sleeves. Back in solid off-white/cream colour.
Excellent vintage condition. The faded/yellowed texture is part of the original "old newspaper" effect print. Please note that the material label has been removed, but the fabric is the classic high-quality stretch cotton jersey (cotton/elastane blend).
The authenticity hologram on the inner tag and the "Galliano" metal plaque on the bottom hem are present.
Size: XS (stretch fabric, adapts beautifully to the silhouette).

Zeldzame en iconische archieftop van JOHN GALLIANO, uit het midden van de jaren 2000 (Y2K-tijdperk). Dit stuk viert de beroemde "Newspaper"-esthetiek (krantenprint) die de ontwerper beroemd maakte, hier in een prachtige historische variant: de kop "The Galliano Times" omlijst een Amerikaans geïnspireerde afbeelding gericht op de presidentiële campagne van Abraham Lincoln uit 1864 ("Union Standard Bearers"), compleet met een patriottische driekleurige strik en verouderde vintage-effectdetails.
Snit met een boothals/off-the-shoulder halslijn, verrijkt met delicate ruches op de kapmouwtjes. Achterkant in effen gebroken wit/crèmekleur.
Uitstekende vintage staat. De vervaagde/vergeelde textuur maakt deel uit van de originele "oude krant"-effectprint. Let op: het materiaallabel is verwijderd, maar de stof is de klassieke hoogwaardige stretchkatoenen jersey (katoen/elastaanmix).
Het authenticiteitshologram op het binnenlabel en de metalen "Galliano"-plaquette aan de onderzoom zijn aanwezig.

Questo capo celebra la famosissima estetica "Newspaper" (stampa gazzetta) resa celebre dal designer, qui declinata in una splendida variante storica: la testata "The Galliano Times" fa da cornice a una grafica d'ispirazione americana incentrata sulla campagna presidenziale di Abraham Lincoln del 1864 ("Union Standard Bearers"), completa di fiocco patriottico tricolore e dettagli vintage effetto invecchiato.
Taglio con scollo a barca/omero scoperto (off-the-shoulder) arricchito da delicate rouches sulle maniche ad aletta. Retro in tinta unita bianco panna/crema.
Ottime condizioni vintage. La texture sfumata/ingiallita fa parte della stampa originale effetto "giornale d'epoca". Si segnala che l'etichetta dei materiali è stata rimossa, ma il tessuto è il classico jersey di cotone elasticizzato di alta qualità (misto cotone/elastan).
Presente l'ologramma di autenticità sul cartellino interno e la placchetta di metallo "Galliano" sul bordo inferiore.
