Ruffled silk cascades along the placket and collar, creating a flowing silhouette against
the deep teal body of this Dior blouse. The fabric has a subtle sheen,
framed by lighter tonal panels that catch the light with every movement. Blue plastic
buttons fasten the front; each is slightly domed and left unmarked, as was typical
for the house’s ready-to-wear of that era.

Cut from pure silk, the blouse is softly structured at the shoulders and
sleeves, with a fitted silhouette at the chest and a gentle flare at the hem. No
logo or signature hardware interrupts the surface—just the interplay of color,
texture, and construction.

This piece belongs to Marc Bohan’s Dior collection, circa the late 1970s to early 1980s; its label
and ruffled design are both characteristic of the period when Bohan’s eye for
refined detail met the house’s Paris ateliers. The mannequin normally wears a
size M.
