Livio De Simone

multicolor

Splendid vintage strapless dress by Livio De Simone.
This is a short strapless sheath dress, featuring a striking draped band across the bust that culminates in a large, knotted central contrast bow.
In the upper part, at the bust, it has a kind of internal bustier to support the neckline.
Livio De Simone's creations are historically distinguished by the use of hand-printed or hand-painted cotton or linen fabrics.
Here the decorations are in shades of green, blue, and gold.
Size IT 44, UK 10.
The measurements with the garment laid flat are: chest 39, waist 38, hips 47, front length approx. 76.5 cm.
It was bought and used for two occasions in the 80s and then stored in the wardrobe.
At the time it was not washed and you can still feel the manufacturer's finishing starch.
The dress needs to be washed, which we are not able to do because we do not want to ruin it.
Also for the ironing of the bustier and the bow. With a good treatment it will be like new again because ultimately it is.
The dress is amazing and perfect for a summer ceremony/party, don't miss it!

Maat IT 44, UK 10.

Splendido abito strapless vintage firmato Livio De Simone.
Taglia IT 44, UK 10.
