Lanvin

bruin

Iconic jewel dress from the house of Lanvin, Été 2007 collection (as per internal label).

Sleeveless straight-line model, above-the-knee length, made of anthracite-brown technical satin/silk with a slightly shiny finish.

The real protagonist is the maxi jewel embroidery that completely frames the neckline and continues on the back, creating an integrated collier effect.

The embroidery consists of:
• Square and rectangular cut faceted crystals
• Inset micro crystals
• Beads and tubular baguettes in burnished metal
• Layered geometric structure with an architectural effect

The construction creates a sculpture necklace effect, typical of the Lanvin aesthetic of the Alber Elbaz era: sophisticated, theatrical but extremely wearable.

On the side, there is an exposed metal zip with its original puller, which adds a modern and slightly industrial accent.

The line is soft, slightly ballooned at the bottom, with integrated side pockets.

Lanvin dresses with integrated jewel embroidery from this period generally had a retail price between €3,000 and €5,000, depending on the complexity of the embroidery.

Considering the richness of the application and the Made in France production, this model is in the high end of the collection.

⸻

A highly representative piece of the Alber Elbaz era for Lanvin: minimal in its line, spectacular in its detail.

• Ingelegde microkristallen
