Maison Martin Margiela

grijs

Directly from Maison Margiela's celebrated Spring/Summer 2019 collection, this aviator/flight suit style jumpsuit embodies the essence of the house's avant-garde and industrial aesthetic.
The key feature is the fabric: a lightweight technical nylon (perfect for mid-seasons and summer evenings) in a hypnotic anthracite grey with an almost metallic finish.
One Size & Adjustable Fit: The "One Size" nature makes it an extremely fluid and versatile piece. Thanks to the internal drawstring at the waist, you can decide whether to wear it oversized and relaxed with a street attitude, or tighten it to accentuate the hips and highlight the silhouette in a super sensual way.
Transformable Design: Characterized by the iconic zips positioned on the inside of the leg, at the bottom, and on the cuffs. You can open or close them to completely change the silhouette of the trousers and sleeves depending on the shoe you wear (wonderful with both chunky combat boots and a killer stiletto heel).
Cargo Details: Rich in geometric compartments with cargo pockets on the sleeves and on the front of the chest, which give structure and a strong character to the garment.
Closure: Covered central zip at the front with a high biker-inspired collar.
Condition and Transparency Note:
The fabric and structure of the jumpsuit are in excellent condition. For full transparency, I point out that one of the 4 iconic white stitching points (bartack) of the label on the back has come undone. A detail that can be easily restored with a simple stitch of a needle and thread, or left as is to emphasize that lived-in, "deconstructed," and non-conformist look that is the absolute signature of Martin Margiela.
An impossible-to-find runway piece. Write to me for any information or proposal!

Schrijf me voor alle informatie of voorstellen!

Jumpsuit
