🕶️ Vintage Gucci – GG 2456/S Sunglasses – Translucent olive brown frame – 90s / Y2K

A superb pair of vintage Gucci sunglasses, likely from the late 1990s, in an aesthetic very representative of the Tom Ford / Y2K period.

The frame has a beautiful translucent smoky brown / olive tint, which varies with the light, with a slightly wraparound rectangular shape and wide arms.

The arms are adorned with inlaid Gucci metal plates near the hinges, a characteristic detail of several Gucci models from this era.

🔎 Reference: The internal inscriptions have unfortunately faded over time. After comparison with several archive models, the pair strongly corresponds to the Gucci GG 2456/S, an Italian model from the late 1990s. The reference is therefore given for information only and cannot be guaranteed due to the faded markings. Documented examples of the GG 2456/S show this same wraparound silhouette, translucent frame, and Gucci plates on the arms.

✨ Details:

* Brand: Gucci
* Probable model: GG 2456/S
* Era: late 1990s / early 2000s
* Style: rectangular / wrap / Y2K
* Thick translucent frame
* Color: smoky brown with olive / khaki nuances
* GUCCI metal plates on the arms
* Italian manufacturing corresponding to this series
* Comparable documented model with 120 mm arms and lenses of approximately 55 mm, depending on the GG 2456/S variants.

📌 Condition: Good general vintage condition with signs of use consistent with the age of the pair. The reference inscriptions inside the arms are largely faded. Please carefully review all the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.

A very beautiful Gucci archive piece, particularly interesting today for its 90s / Y2K aesthetic, its translucent frame, and its wraparound design.

🕶️ Vintage Gucci – Zonnebril GG 2456/S – Doorschijnend olijfbruin montuur – Jaren '90 / Y2K

✨ Details:

* Merk: Gucci
* Waarschijnlijk model: GG 2456/S
* Tijdperk: late jaren 1990 / vroege jaren 2000
* Stijl: rechthoekig / wrap / Y2K
* Dik doorschijnend montuur
* Kleur: rookbruin met olijf / kaki nuances
* GUCCI metalen plaatjes op de poten
* Italiaanse makelij die overeenkomt met deze serie
* Vergelijkbaar gedocumenteerd model met poten van 120 mm en glazen van ongeveer 55 mm, afhankelijk van de varianten van de GG 2456/S.

* Marque : Gucci
* Modèle probable : GG 2456/S
* Époque : fin des années 1990 / début 2000
* Style : rectangulaire / wrap / Y2K
* Monture épaisse translucide
* Coloris : brun fumé avec nuances olive / kaki
* Plaques métalliques GUCCI sur les branches
* Fabrication italienne correspondant à cette série
* Modèle comparable documenté avec branches de 120 mm et verres d’environ 55 mm, selon les variantes du GG 2456/S.
