Hermès Gavroche scarf "Les Armes de Paris" (First Original Edition, 1954).

Exceptional pocket square / Gavroche (approx. 42x42 cm) by Hermès, titled "Les Armes de Paris" and designed by the legendary artist Hugo Grygkar.
• Collector's Edition: This is a genuine piece from the first original 1954 run. It is unequivocally confirmed by the absence of the copyright symbol (©) next to the "HERMÈS PARIS" signature, a characteristic detail of 50s pieces (the later 1992 reissue does include the ©).
• Condition: In magnificent vintage condition. The silk maintains its body, the ivory/cream background is impeccable, with no severe storage stains or discoloration. The colors (red, blue, and gold) remain vivid and sharp thanks to the layered screen printing of the period.
• Craftsmanship details: Traditional hand-rolled hem (roulotté) towards the front, remaining plump, cylindrical, and with its stitches intact. Does not retain the original composition tag due to its age.
A historical jewel very difficult to find in this condition, ideal for collectors of the brand.

• Conditie: In prachtige vintage staat.
